Bloom
Concept
BLOOM acts as a concierge for global filmmakers: “you bring the script, we deliver Paris.” The homepage reads like a producer’s mood reel first a bold promise FULL PRODUCTION SERVICES STUDIO BASED IN PARIS, then three clear paths: Work → Services → About. Visitors glide from inspiration to contact without sifting through jargon.
Visual Language & Motion
A deep-ink canvas supports billboard-sized footage from Puma × Neymar, Louis Vuitton and Lenny Kravitz shoots. Headlines in ultrabold uppercase stretch across the grid, snapping in with GSAP spring-ease that mimics clapper-board action. Hover states desaturate hero stills and overlay a grainy countdown leader, hinting at on-set energy. Navigation opens as a full-screen slate WORK / 01, SERVICES / 02 reinforcing the production motif.
UX & Performance
Reel clips ship as H.265 poster frames, then swap to muted MP4 only when above the fold, keeping LCP ≈ 1.2 s desktop, 1.6 s on 4 G mobile. IntersectionObserver preloads the next video two screens ahead for jitter-free playback. prefers-reduced-motion
freezes motion to hero poster and disables parallax lines. Contact buttons stay pinned bottom-right; on mobile they collapse to a WhatsApp icon one tap and you’re chatting with a line producer. All colour pairs meet WCAG AA, reinforcing trust for high-budget clients.
Takeaway
BLOOM proves a production site can feel as cinematic as the work it facilitates: disciplined grid, heavyweight reels and frictionless funnels combine to make booking Paris crews as effortless and inspiring as hitting “play” on a director’s cut.
