Design notes

VSCO gives photographs space to breathe through restrained navigation, neutral surfaces and a gallery-oriented presentation. The image remains the centre of attention.

Its editing experience is a useful reference for creative tools that aim for calmness: visual decisions are foregrounded while interface chrome stays understated.
