Design notes

Instagram explores a social platform for sharing images, video, and conversations. Its visual direction makes a useful reference for designers working on photo & video experiences, especially where the product needs to feel immediately recognizable on a small screen.

Look closely at media-first layouts, recognizable interaction patterns, and a dense but consistent visual system. The most instructive part is how those decisions establish a recognizable personality while keeping the primary task legible and easy to reach.
