Unbelievably Crap is the experimental portfolio of digital designer and art director Liubomyr Ulytskyi. The site combines a character-based interactive field, 3D imagery and game-like interface elements around selected creative work.
The portfolio uses a black-and-red game-like interface, a rotating scanned figure, a character field and an unusual gallery with 3D elements. Fixed interface details include a minimap, coordinates and an awards ticker. The desktop experience is intentionally richer than its mobile presentation.
A technically ambitious portfolio reference for playful navigation, hand-crafted motion and the use of unconventional interaction as a signature. This is a strong creative-coding reference because its interaction patterns form a complete identity. The tradeoff is also instructive: an elaborate desktop-driven portfolio can be memorable while imposing constraints on smaller screens and quick content access.
