Design notes
Watch Duty is designed for moments when information has real consequences. A map-first view combines incident boundaries, location context and timely updates, while alerts help people recognise which changes may affect them.
The most important design choices are restraint and clarity: labels, time, source context and visual priority need to support a decision under pressure. Study how the interface handles dense, constantly changing geospatial data without turning an emergency into a decorative data dashboard.
