Design notes

Rooms won the 2024 Apple Design Award for Visuals and Graphics and was also a Delight and Fun finalist. Its tactile 3D miniature worlds, nostalgic pixel aesthetic and social gallery turn spatial creation into a form of playful expression.

The editor makes composition approachable through direct manipulation and immediate visual feedback. Discovering other people's rooms becomes part of the creative loop, with each miniature scene offering a richly detailed invitation to explore.
