Hearing Buddy gives spoken language an unusually direct interface: conversation appears as readable, live text with little competing chrome. Generous type and a clear reading hierarchy are functional accessibility decisions, especially in noisy or fast-moving situations.
The product also handles sensitive context carefully, with on-device captioning that can work offline. It is a useful case study in prioritising one essential task while keeping configuration and additional accuracy options secondary to comprehension.
