What it is

Koichi Takada Architects is an architecture practice with offices in Sydney and Brisbane. The studio designs sustainable buildings and spaces, ranging from retail marketplaces and gift shops to residential towers and mixed-use developments.

Structure & content

The site organizes content into sections for Projects, News, Practice, and People. Individual project entries like Solar Trees Marketplace and Norfolk Burleigh Heads are presented with descriptions of their architectural inspiration. A dedicated News section aggregates media coverage from publications such as Forbes Australia and ArchDaily.

Why study it

The site illustrates a way to categorize architectural work by its relationship to the environment, using labels like Planet and Practice in the primary navigation. It also shows how to present project-specific narratives that connect physical design choices to local geography and natural forms.
