COVEO

What it is

COVEO is an audio-visual project created by Connell McCarthy that combines instrumental music with visual design. The site serves as a digital archive for a discography spanning from 2018 to 2025, featuring singles and collections of songs. It provides background on the creator's musical history with piano and electronic music, alongside their process for crafting visuals using photography and 3D design.

Structure & content

The page is organized into sections including a project introduction, a biographical narrative titled The Art of Sonic and Visual Storytelling, and a chronological Discography. The Discography lists releases with their release date, track count, and duration, accompanied by preview options. The footer contains Acknowledgements, Credits for Bo & Co Studio, and links for licensing and press materials.

Why study it

The site demonstrates a method for presenting a musical discography as a structured data list with track durations and release numbers. It integrates personal narrative about creative processes directly alongside a functional audio player interface. The layout uses a numbered system to organize a multi-year catalog of releases.
