Perplexity: AI Agent & Search

Design notes

Perplexity: AI Agent & Search explores an AI answer engine combining search with conversational research. Its visual direction makes a useful reference for designers working on productivity experiences, especially where the product needs to feel immediately recognizable on a small screen.

Look closely at source-backed responses, crisp content hierarchy, and a fast question-to-follow-up flow. The most instructive part is how those decisions establish a recognizable personality while keeping the primary task legible and easy to reach.
