Notion

Design notes

Notion carries a flexible block-based workspace onto a small screen, where pages can contain notes, databases, tasks and embedded content. The interface relies on a consistent editing model and a clear hierarchy between navigation and the current document.

The mobile design challenge is progressive disclosure. Contextual block controls, search and workspace navigation help preserve the power of a general-purpose tool without surrounding every paragraph with permanent interface chrome.
