Fantastical

Design notes

Fantastical compresses a surprising amount of scheduling information into a small display. Its DayTicker provides a quick visual map of upcoming events, while detailed calendar views are available when the user needs to plan more deliberately.

Natural-language entry reduces the gap between deciding on an event and creating it. The interesting design balance is between dense information and fast action: colour, alignment and typographic hierarchy help people scan their day without navigating through several screens.
