Endel

Design notes

Endel builds its interface around a sustained state of attention. Generative visuals and ambient motion reinforce soundscapes for focus, rest or sleep, while prominent mode choices make starting a session feel effortless.

Most of the experience is deliberately low-demand. That makes it a strong reference for designing a product people use alongside another activity: pacing, contrast and animation matter, but controls should recede once the soundscape is running.
